Food Pantry

Our in-person Monday and Thursday Food Pantries remain closed due to Covid-19. Please follow this link to find out more information about our Thursday Drive Through Food Pantry. Thank you.

Our Food Pantry is a non-judgmental user-friendly place that serves over 500 families a month. Food deliveries come twice a month and the pantry is open two times each week. On pantry days we often provide homemade soups for our patrons along with informational and educational literature. We are here to help and feed those who need it. It’s that simple and we simply do the best we can to make that happen.

In addition to our regular food pantry, the Community Center provides special food distributions during Thanksgiving and the Christmas holidays. We are proud to serve over 200 families each holiday with support from our community, local agencies and of course our wonderful volunteers!

The Food Pantry at the San Geronimo Valley Community Center is open weekly on Mondays from 9:00 am-5:00pm and on Thursdays from 2:00pm-5:00pm. Do you need more information? (Necessita Ud. mas informacion?) Please call Nicole Ramirez at (415) 488-8888 x254 or email nramirez@sgvcc.org for more information.

Paper bags and bilingual volunteers are always needed. To volunteer or donate please contact Poko Giacomini at (415) 488-8888 x250 or email pgiacomini@sgvcc.org.

The San Geronimo Valley Food Pantry received national recognition during the recession of 2008. Dave Cort, our Executive Director, has been interview in the New York Times and CNN featured the Food Pantry in a segment on current economic climate.
