Communications & Marketing
• Coordinate the Community Center's Weekly Update and Elder’s Connect emails, including gathering and editing staff contributions, partner information, community announcements, and visual assets.
• Maintain email lists and coordinate audience segmentation and distribution as directed.
• Support website updates, including program information, event listings, calendars, and organizational content.
• Coordinate Stone Soup submissions and assist with production schedules and delivery of publication to post offices.
• Manage and grow social media channels, including Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn by
Creating engaging content—including posts, stories, reels, videos, graphics, and photography
• Maintain a shared photo library of community events and programs.
• Collaborate with staff to gather stories, photos, videos, and program updates that support organizational communications goals.
• Support the development and execution of communications calendars, campaign messaging, and marketing initiatives.
• Assist with newsletters, campaign communications, and other outreach efforts.
Advancement & Fundraising
• Support the implementation of the Community Center's annual advancement strategy, including fundraising campaigns, donor engagement, sponsorships, and stewardship activities.
• Assist with donor cultivation, solicitation, acknowledgment, and stewardship efforts.
• Coordinate thank-you letters, donor communications, impact updates, the annual report, and stewardship materials.
• Conduct donor and prospect research and prepare fundraising reports and analysis.
• Assist with grant research, proposal preparation (writing and budgeting), grant tracking, and reporting.
• Support sponsorship outreach and fundraising event initiatives.
• Collaborate with staff, volunteers, board members, and committees on advancement activities.
CRM & Data Management
• Maintain accurate donor, volunteer, and constituent records in Neon and other organizational databases.
• Process gifts and donations in a timely manner and support reconciliation efforts with accounting staff.
• Generate reports related to fundraising, volunteer engagement, programs, and community impact.
• Ensure data integrity through regular updates, account management, duplicate cleanup, and quality control.
• Support data projects, reporting needs, and fundraising metrics tracking across departments.
Volunteer Engagement
• Serve as the primary point of contact for volunteer recruitment, onboarding, scheduling, and support.
• Promote volunteer opportunities through community outreach, partnerships, events, and communications channels.
• Coordinate volunteer orientation, training, and ongoing engagement.
• Maintain volunteer records and ensure compliance with required documentation.
• Foster a welcoming and inclusive volunteer experience that encourages long-term engagement.
• Coordinate volunteer appreciation and recognition efforts.
Events & Community Engagement
• Support fundraising and community events through planning, sponsorship coordination, communications, volunteer management, and donor engagement.
• Provide on-site event support, including registration, volunteer coordination, donor hospitality, setup, and breakdown.
• Represent the Community Center professionally with donors, volunteers, community members, partners, and stakeholders.

• Strong knowledge of communications, fundraising, marketing, donor stewardship, volunteer engagement, and community outreach.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Strong project management, organizational, and time-management abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively across departments and build positive relationships with donors, volunteers, community members, and staff.
• Experience with CRM/database management, reporting, and data stewardship.
• Strong problem-solving skills, adaptability, and initiative.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in communications, fundraising, marketing, volunteer management, nonprofit administration, or related fields.
• Experience with Neon or similar CRM systems preferred.
• Experience with website content management systems (Webflow preferred).
• Experience with Canva, Constant Contact, social media platforms, Google Workspace, and Microsoft 365 Suite.
• Ability to work occasional evenings and weekends for events and community activities.
Physical Requirements:
• Ability to sit, stand, and move throughout program sites and events as needed.
• Occasionally lift or lower objects up to 50 pounds.
• Occasionally stand on a ladder.
Bilingual Differential: Additional compensation for employees who demonstrate professional proficiency in Spanish and regularly utilize those skills in their role.
