The Spaces
The Community Center rents out its facilities for all kinds of events: classes, workshops, weddings, private parties, bands trying out their sound for their friends and a host of other events. You can rent one room or both rooms and there is a kitchen if you need to cook. The best thing is the rates are some of the most reasonably priced in Marin. Look down the page to get a brief overview of our rental opportunities. We have a total of 75 chairs which can be used in either room. If you need additional tables and chairs please inquire. The Valley Room
The Valley Room is approximately 750 sq. feet and will hold up to 100 people. There are 75 chairs and 6 rectangular tables (6’X 3’) and 6 round tables (4’) available. It also has an upright piano for use.
The West Room
The West room is approximately 600 sq. feet and will hold up to 60 people. It also has a grand piano for use. Chairs and tables are available. There are 75 chairs and 6 folding tables (6’X 3’) and 6 round tables (4’) available.
East Room
The East Room is approximately 390 sq. feet and will hold up 10-25 people, has a 72” TV screen mounted on the wall for use and black-out curtains to darken room for presentations.
Living Room
The living room is approximately 286 sq. feet and will hold 10-12 people. Great room for meetings and we also have comfortable couches to make your stay pleasant.
The Kitchen
We have a fully equipped and beautifully tiled kitchen which, is also available to rent. It includes use of a six burner gas range, double size oven, Large commercial refrigerator, dishwasher and other small appliances. Bring your own kitchenware.
The Court Yard
This is the perfect place to hold your outside gathering. There is plenty of space for family reunions, wedding or just general “YaHooing” with friends.
Community Center Rates
The rates for room rentals are as follows:
Non-San Geronimo Valley or Non-Nicasio Resident: $40.00 per hour
San Geronimo Valley or Nicasio Resident or Non-profit: $32.00 per hour
Commitment of one class or activity per week for 3 months or more: 15.00 per hour
Memorial services for local residents: Free (based on availability)
Loft/Gym Rates
Non-San Geronimo Valley or Non-Nicasio Resident: $75.00 per hour
San Geronimo Valley or Nicasio Resident or Non-profit: $40.00 per hour
