At the Loft

What conversations do we need to have with our kids about sex, intimacy, gender and relationships so that they learn to have healthy experiences and keep themselves and their partners safe?

Hoping parents and guardians will join us on Monday, December 17th at 6:30pm in the Community Gym LOFT for an evening workshop on answering this question – and other issues related to consent and intimacy.

If you feel your kids are too young to even think about these conversations, studies recommend that parents talk openly with their teens about these topics early and on an ongoing basis. No matter what our kids learn in school, parents and guardians need to be their kids’ primary sex educator.

Leading the evening are two speakers, both from Huckleberry Youth Center.  Both of these women are seasoned sex educators.  We love what they, and all of Huckleberry Youth, are doing for teens and parents in Marin and SF.

This is an adults only event.  Please come – and bring a parent/guardian friend to join in on this relevant and necessary conversation!
