Year Long Program for Young Adults in West Marin

Night 2: Thursday, June 14th, 6:30-7:30pm @ Tomales Bay Youth Center (West Marin School in Point Reyes Station).
The San Geronimo Valley Community Center is launching G.O.A.L. (Growth, Opportunity, Adventure, and Leadership) a year-long program for young adults ages 18-25 living in West Marin.
G.O.A.L. is accepting applicants who will be age 18+ by September, 2018, when the program begins. Applications are due Friday, July 6th, 2018. You can find all of the information here: GOAL APPLICATION and GOAL Flyer.
G.O.A.L. is part of a county-wide effort to support TAY (Transition Age Youth) in partnership with Marin County Health and Human Services. G.O.A.L. program participants will form a supportive group culture and learn about themselves in the process. The G.O.A.L. team will meet several times each month and work collaboratively to create positive changes in West Marin through action-oriented service and community organizing. Participants will leave the program will a job placement or internship opportunity, memorable and meaningful experiences, friendships, tangible skills, and a plan for their future. Participants are also eligible for a stipend. The stipend amount is TBD. The program will begin September, 2018 and run through June 1st, 2019. See attachments for details.
