In the Maurice del Mue Gallerie
The San Geronimo Valley Community Center is very proud to host The Art and Lives of Peter Strindberg and Jack Kamesar.
This exhibition is being presented by the Bagel Boys, in honor of their very dear friends who we have recently lost. The Bagel Boys are group of primarily Valley artists who meet each Tuesday morning at the Woodacre Market to share stories, discuss art and stimulate their close friendships.
Peter Strindberg passed away on September 26, 2017. Peter founded Strindberg & Company, a highly-respected construction company based in San Geronimo. After retirement, Peter developed a deep passion for abstract art, becoming most proficient in this art form.
Jack Kamesar drew his last breath on May 22, 2018. Jack studied fine art and architecture at UC Berkeley where he began a lifelong focus on sculpture, primarily working with steel, stainless and bronze. His work was exhibited extensively in galleries throughout the San Francisco area. In 1995 Jack and his wife Dalia moved their home to the San Geronimo Valley.
The exhibition will feature several works by both Peter and Jack, supplemented by artworks by each of the Bagel Boys, and one Bagel gal.
Please join us for this very special celebration of two wonderful artists and dear friends.
Opening reception Friday, August 3, 5-7pm, at the San Geronimo Valley Community Center.
