Bay Area Middle School Mountain Biking Competitive Series

April 17 – June 9, 2019

This year, our Bay Area Middle School Mountain Biking (BAMMB) series will consist of five competitive, short-track races and three community building, noncompetitive group mountain bike rides. Teams will receive scores for the placing of their top riders at the races and number of middle school team members who participate in the noncompetitive rides. This year, we are introducing a commuter series so that teams from outside of Marin, who are not able to attend our Wednesday races can still compete.

Team scoring: Team scores will be the sum of the scores from a team’s top five finishers from each race and team score from each noncompetitive, fun ride.

Individual Scoring: Individual scores are the sum of a participant’s finishing scores from each race and participation scores from each noncompetitive, fun ride.

Team Commuter Scoring: Team scores will be the sum of the scores from a team’s top five finishers from our weekend races and team score from each noncompetitive, fun ride.

Individual Commuter Scoring:  Individual scores are the sum of a participant’s finishing scores from the weekend races and participation scores from each noncompetitive, fun ride.
