Following the Senior Stroll, the San Geronimo Valley Community Center will be hosting a Tea and Cookies Get Together for Seniors on the first and third Friday of the month at 11:00 a.m. Enjoy this casual get-together with staff and other seniors in our community. Highlights include:
Starting at 10:30 a.m., Willow Taraja from the Marin County Free Library will be joining us again for “All Things Library” where she can issue new library cards or assist with replacement of lost cards. Also available is help downloading library apps for e-books, audio books, music, and streaming movie services, and there will be tutorials about how to access digital magazines, newspapers, language courses and free park and museum passes. Directly following the Senior Tea until 2:30 p.m. we are hosting a “Senior Play Date” with activities including dominoes, chess, backgammon, board games, scrabble, cards, dance, music, friendship, conversation, discussion and more. Highlights for this week include:
- Carole Alter will lead an introductory exercise class for Alta Cockers and,
- Jerome Rubin will lead a Song and More Circle. Bring your voices, instruments, music stands, poems, stories, and anything else you wish to share. Even just yourself…
