On Tuesday, April 11th from 3 – 5 pm join fellow family caregivers for a free monthly peer support group hosted by Karen Voets in the Valley Room. The group is constructed as a sharing and listening circle. Family caregivers can come and share their circumstance, feelings, solutions, experiences, problems or just sit and listen. It is a peer support group so there will not be a teacher or doctor to lead or give advice. The group will meet the second Tuesday of every month. Karen Voets is an End of Life Doula certified with the University of Vermont and Compassionate Hospice Caregiver and volunteer at Laguna Honda Hospital Hospice Caregiving.
