There will be a celebration of life for Jean Berensmeier at the San Geronimo Valley Community Center on Sunday May 28th from 2 – 5 pm. In lieu of flowers, per Jean’s wishes, we hope you will donate to Marin County Open Space District, specifically for land purchase in the San Geronimo Valley in Jean’s name. These funds will support the preservation of Open Space for future generations. Visit Marin Community Foundation Online Donations at donationcenter.marincf.org. Supervisor Dennis Rodoni is also hosting a celebration to honor Jean’s life. A video will be shared at a future BOS meeting (tentatively Tuesday June 20th). Dennis Rodoni will speak and anybody else that would like to during the public comment period. The video will project special pictures and videos of Jean that you can share. You can record a 20 second video of yourself (selfie style) sharing a good personal memory, something about her legacy, or simply the way you want to remember and always love Jean. They are envisioning casual recordings that come from the heart, as an opportunity for all of us to come together and celebrate Jean’s legacy.
