Donor Database / Development Associate

Job Overview:
The Donor Database/Development Associate will play a key role in supporting the development team by handling donor data entry and maintaining the donor database. This role also involves assisting with donor communications, stewardship efforts, and providing support for various development campaigns as needed.
Job Responsibilities & Duties:


● Record new donor contributions and update donor records accordingly.
● Write and track thank you notes to donors in the donor management system.
● Manage the donor database by updating records, resolving duplicates, creating and
downloading clean reports for the leadership team, and ensuring accurate donor information, including contact details, preferred names, communication preferences, and interest areas.
● Enter volunteer hours into the donor database on a weekly basis.
● Process gifts in the donor database promptly and accurately.
● Perform system maintenance to ensure high-quality report generation and verify data
integrations.
● Generate both scheduled and ad-hoc reports to support campaign execution,
compliance, financial reconciliations, and leadership reporting.   

Qualifications & Skills:


● Experience with donor database management
● Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
● Attention to detail
● Diplomacy and confidentiality
● Enthusiasm for collaboration and working with a team
● Spanish language skills not required but desired

Experience & Requirements:


● In depth and proven experience in data entry preferably donor database management
● In depth experience with donor management / CRM systems
● Experience working in a nonprofit setting
● Must be able to complete all physical requirements of the job with or without a
     reasonable accommodation, including:
    ○ Sit for extended periods of time
    ○ Occasionally lift or lower objects up to 50 pounds
