Valley After School Tutoring Program (VAST)

The Valley After School Tutoring Program (VAST) offers one-on-one tutoring and homework help for students at affordable rates. Our locally-based program addresses the specific educational needs of elementary, middle school, and high school students. The tutoring center is a place for students to get help with subjects that are difficult for them or subjects in which they want to excel. Tutors are matched to meet the specific needs of each child.

Tutoring is offered on the Lagunitas School campus Monday through Thursday afternoons. If you are interested in tutoring for your child or want more information about the program, please contact Robin at 488-4118 ext. 506 or email VAST@sgvcc.org. We are located in room 6 and welcome you to pay us a visit.

Congratulations! The VAST Program is the winner of the California School Board Association’s Golden Bell Award. This award is given in recognition of excellence in education. For more information CLICK HERE.

Homework Club

Homework Club is a drop-in, as needed opportunity for your student to finish homework away from distractions. A student can independently work at VAST as long as they need with a fee of $5 a visit.  Students are allowed to bring snacks and study at our large tables. Additionally, Homework Club is an excellent option for students who cannot get picked up right away, or need a place to study before practice.

When registering for tutoring or Homework Club, there is a one-time $35 registration fee. Financial Aid is available.
