"Right on! Really fun material and the voices to make the charts come to life.great presentation!" Gene Puerling (HiLo's, Grammy-winning jazz arranger)

National top 3 a cappella act Clockwork, known for their tight Jazz arrangements, technical prowess and great performances (including their last sold-out show here at the CC). Clockwork has reformed and current members include Angie Doctor and John Paddock who thrilled the crowd in the last Clockwork performance, and newer members Juliet Green and Dave Duran. They will treat us to an a cappella set and a set with instrumental accompaniment.
Clockwork is best known for bringing their unmistakable sound and style to a program selected from a diverse array of musical genres - to the surprise and delight of audiences as diverse as the music.
The "Clockwork Sound" is rooted in the tradition of great vocal jazz groups such as New York Voices, The HiLos, Singers Unlimited and Lambert, Hendricks and Ross; and draws creative inspiration from the variety of musical and artistic experiences which have influenced each of Clockwork's talented singers. The result: a fresh and entertaining new interpretation of the vocal jazz ensemble.
